The outcomes of this project will support smart and precision agriculture in Alberta. This project is led by the Olds College Centre for Innovation (OCCI) in collaboration with prominent industry partners in the field of agricultural automation and artificial intelligence.
Soil health, carbon, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and sustainability indicators modelling for potato fields across USA and Canada
Applying process-based mathematical modelling approach to estimate immediate, intermediate- and long-term changes in soil health indicators, soil carbon accumulation, and soil GHG fluxes (CO2, CH4 and N2O) across large-scale commercial potato fields in different states of USA and different provinces of Canada. This project is a collaboration with the PepsiCO and Agrograph Inc., USA.
Online content creation: Using decision support tools for economic profitability and environmental sustainability in agriculture
